July 23, 2009; Posted: 06:14 AM Jul 23, 2009 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- MENV Micron Enviro Systems Inc (OTCBB: MENV (Frankfurt: NDDA) has applied for lithium permits, the company announced on Thursday. The permits consist of 46,080 contiguous acres of land prospective for Basinal Brine Lithium in Alberta, Canada. The company said that thisAnew acreage lies within the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin and these brines were deemed 'producible' in regards to their contained lithium by Government of Alberta Research Council studies. In addition, Micron announced that its common shares will be split on a three for one basis shortly. Shareholders of record will receive the additional shares. The record date is expected to around 13 AugustA2009. The split is to reportedly reward the shareholders of record and to potentially increase the liquidity of the trading of the shares.
