Rsievers,

I did a BRIEF (meaning I could have missed something) perusal of the 2009 Marketimers and found no mention of Brinker's "timing model."

He used to talk about it in almost every issue, but the last issue I found the words "Marketimer stock market timing model indicators" was in the October 2008 issue.

I noticed that in the June, 2009 issue he used the words "stock market indicators."

If you read my summaries, you may know that a caller asked him point-blank if his "timing-model" had failed to forecast the bear market (2007-2009). Brinker answered briefly, but honestly, that it had not.

So I would assume that he would not be inclined to continue using his "timing model" in his market timing forecasts.

Another point of interest:

November 2008 was the last time that Brinker began his Marketimer with the subject heading: "Stock Market Timing Update."

Since then, he uses "Stock Market Update," or "Stock Market Outlook."
