Consciousness is another issue and a subject of debate. And it is not at all about the consciousness you are thinking of. The Canadian Medical Policy Guidelines are that Abortions after 20 months must be restricted to issues of health concerns. Society has a conscience and they act with perhaps too great an abundance of caution but I suppose caution is not a bad guidance to follow... "a glaring inconsistency in the Pro Abortion position" I have never heard of a "Pro Abortion position". This is another of your deliberate misrepresentations which makes it an OUTRIGHT LIE BEFORE YOUR GOD. "Does an unconscious individual lose their status as a Human Being when they lose consciousness?" We were not talking about human individuals but yes...the inability to regain consciousness (if medical experts are convinced there is no underlying interest in life) means that difficult decisions have to be made. I guess one could call such euthanasia "late term person abortion" but let us not confuse our terminology. Mercy killing is done for human persons. While fetal killing is often merciful and done for those reasons, I don't think using the term mercy killing for brain dead fetuses would clarify matters as they are not people. "A toddler is no more, or less, a Human Being than a teen or an adult or a fetus." A toddler is 100% more of a human PERSON than a fetus. A fetus does not have individual existence and therefore can have no personal rights without society completely collapsing the principles of fundamental rights. And I do mean COMPLETELY COLLAPSING. "The truth is that it's the Pro Abortionists who wish.." Again, I have never heard of a "pro-abortionist". You are deliberately trying to undo the distinction between people who support human rights and people (if any such exist) who just like abortions. This deliberate misrepresentation is what makes you the most prolific and unconscionable liar on Silicon Investor--BAR NONE.
