<<<Any homeowner who has a cop show up to make sure his home is not being broken into should be grateful and polite, even in a case of mistaken identity that can be cleared up quickly and easily.>>>

The onus should not be on the homeowner especially when the homeowner has not done anything wrong - criminally.

But we have to examine very carefully the people who are given the authority, especially in this type of situation, to arrest someone in their own homes people who have not done anything wrong.

Not to call in question the behavior of the police officer in this situation is wrong.

It is unfortunate that Obama got caught up in this situation. There is no good way for him to handle this situation. For Obama to back off and start praising this cop, however, sends out a very bad message.
