This incident is a clear illustration of the problems black males have had, for a long time, on the level of micro interactions. === I think it is true and it is one of the problems with being a black male in today's society, and is in part to blame for their high level of incarceration, high unemployment, lack of higher education, tendency to get shot, etc. etc. etc. It is hard to be successful in the modern world if you are incapable of interacting effectively with the police, employers or potential employers, teachers, security guards at the mall, prison guards and other people who have the potential to either positively or negatively effect your life. We could send them all to Dale Carnegie courses but I don't think that is going to do the trick.
