Yeah, after the primaries he was. He had to "suck up" so much to get the nomination he would have had a hard time getting even moderate republicans to go along with him. If McCain had been elected he would currently be referred to as the "Democrat McCain" by all them talkshow hosts. Do you disagree with me about that?
