Harvey and all, on top of politics and football, now we have just added marriage counseling. Geez, whats next!

Zacks just moved QCOM to a #1, strong buy. Though I consider Zack's "opinion" worthless, it does reflect some street mentality.

I find the advance-decline yesterday very interesting. It is relatively narrow on both NYSE and NASD, considering the point gains. While almost all stocks got killed on Monday, many did not participate in the recovery yesterday.

What worries me are all the fatherly tones that the talking heads are using the last few days. They have successfully calmed the sheep into not making a run at the mutual funds. Yesterday was a record volume day. Who is selling? Is smart money on the buy side or the sell side. If CNBC had only chosen negative comments to broadcast and interviewed only the investors ready to jump off the empire state building to avoid margin calls, I wonder where the herd would be heading today. Many things have changed but the herd mentality remains. Maurice, there are a lot more sheep here than NZ, we just call them investors.

I was just a baby (in investor years) during the 1987 correction. It is very interesting watch these big move days first hand.
