So when SOES, SNET, and various ECN's were having problems, you could have direct your orders directly to another MM, or to a system that was working.

Just how could you direct your order to a MM if SNET is not working? That IS the system for doing that. I've used Townsend's Real Tick III Level II quote and order entry system and there is no way to do what you say. Can you back up your claim for ABWATLEY?

BTW, when you direct your order to a MM with SNET, there is no guarantee that the MM will fill it.
