Mr Richard LeBlanc reports Mr Richard LeBlanc has beenÿ appointedÿ asÿ executiveÿ vice-president.ÿ The company has also recently hired Mr John Rayburn as chief geologist. The company has completed a private placement of 1,093,235 unitsÿ atÿ $0.17 forÿ $185,850. Each unit is composed of one share and an additional warrant exercisable into a share at $0.17 and expiring on March 31 1998. Closing of
the placement was October 20.

To raise $185,000 is a good sign...I think we'll see a news release first thing next week, as this often a prelude to a substabtial news release to follow. BTW, I've heard that John Rayburn before...I seem to recall him having a positive background....
DAK is holding up nicely...here's hoping for a good news release next week (beginning of month) to send it around 40-50 pennies!
