I don't have any problem saying Gates is a racist black man because he started hassling the cop and accusing him of racism from the getgo and Crowley's minority officers heard it and backed Crowley 100%. It is NOT acceptable to tell a cop "No, I will not", "Its none of your business", and "Why, because I'm a black man in America?" when he asks you to identify yourself, whether there is anyone else in the house, etc. The cop had a DUTY to investigate a potential burglary. Sgt Lashley, a black cop who spoke of hearing part of Gate's tirade from outside the house and who said he supported Crowley 100%, said he didn't think there would have been a problem if he'd been the first cop on the scene. Because Gates wouldn't have went off on a racial tirade with a black cop.

Gates clearly was crying wolf or in this case "racist cop".

As for Whalen, she's not talking - only a lawyer is talking for her. That is weird and suspect right there.
