I know that...why did they drop the charges? It's common with very low misdemeanors where there are no violations. Just doing the fingerprinting and mug shots are enough deterence for most people. That is if there isn't a set fine for the offence. Then they fine you no matter what. Gotta contribute to the common good you know.
