I managed to sell my Dow puts for even-steven before commission, but I'm hanging onto the GTW. Was thinking about SMOD if they pull back. (I.e. going long.) Greenspan said that the market decline was a good thing? Market backing off of its 50 point rise. But I don't think we'll see a wreck before Nov expiration. So I'd move all puts out to Dec or later. Sometimes survival is a very good thing. I'm going to watch the SOX and XCI indexes for put opportunities. Maybe if I do this enough I'll get good at it. Hey! Don't make fun of me! Investing is harder than sex and a lot less natural. It may not be as much fun, but it is a hell of a lot easier to find partners. Schwab is like molasses, I've given up trading for the day. Think I'll go back to sleep. -- Carl
