I sure hope that there is something that I do not understand, however, I believe the finance minister is still bearish on the Canadian economy. On one hand the BoC is bullish and the other hand the government is bearish. Unemployment is high and increasing and the Canadian dollar is high (hurts manufacturing), I do not see how the BoC can predict growth. Mind you, I love Canadian banks, they make me lots of money, they are close to their yearly highs.

There is something in the BoC statement that is not kosher. Are they trying to pacify the public?
