Claude and Jack: When I was young and naive (5 or 6 years ago), I got burned badly by Pacific Rim on a Peruvian deposit where, after the fact, when drawings were made available, the geos appeared to be channel sampling along the strike of the veins and veinlets. The play went on for a while as they tried to build a road to bring the drills in, and the share price rose. I remember arguing with Claude on that one! I had made a bundle on Arequipa and was looking for a repeat in another Catherine MacLeod company. Instead I gave most of it back. My attitude now is that if it is unclear, there may be a good chance that it is deliberately unclear. The other problem I see in Indonesia is the tendency for surface samples to be very high due to weathering of the rock and supergene enrichment of the resulting sapprolite.
