The State guarantees and certifies it.

(Even the director of public records and the current Republican Governor have satisfied themselves personally and stand behind the State-issued document.)

The State Department accepts this State's birth certificates as proof for granting US passports (as does the Department of Homeland Security, etc.), and every single court in the land that has been asked to rule on the matter (over a dozen now my my rough count... maybe more later, who knows?) has decided to *accept* the validity of the State-issued and guaranteed birth certificates.

As per usual, the State's Department of Health placed the birth notice in the State's newspaper of record (the week of birth, as per usual). The paper's did not accept such placement from individuals - only from the Department of Health.

It seems that one would have to assume that some 'evil-doers' from the future (who knew this child would, against ridiculously, impossibly long odds, somehow grow up to be President), and who had access to a time machine, had gone back into the past and manipulated newspapers notices and such... to come up with a usable theory for how "all this could be a scam". <g>

As far as "long form"... the State says that what it supplies NOW *is the* official birth certificate (that is supplied FOR EVERYONE) now.

And that, yes, there was a longer form back them... but that they have changed their forms SEVERAL TIMES (not just once).

Regardless they say the supplied document is OFFICIAL and all that they issue these days. And all government agencies and all courts that have considered the matter (thus far) have accepted the documentation --- just as they accept birth certificates from the other 49 states.
