Michael, no - I don't know if hearings were conducted or if
any are contemplated. I have seen enough complaints about
trading system availability to think that much improvement
is needed. Investors affected should make as much noise as
they can. I expect some law suits on this.

Meanwhile, I hear that availability of trading systems was
better with proprietary trading software. eSchwab, for
instance, can be accessed this way, without using the internet.

I have not traded for over a week, so have no personal
experience with high volume days. It is clear to me that
brokerage officials who try to sweep this under the rug
are incompetent or lying.
