Very true...the conservative movement will go down as one of our history's darkest chapters. I agree if you rephrase it 'movement conservatives'. The old time conservatives created a nice balance... pragmatic things got done without going over board. Very good for their communities. They were actually more anti-war than liberals. Go figure... these new 'movement conservatives' are pretty much the opposite of the old ones.
