Nah, they're going to argue that recovery is slow and fragile and that they still need the porkulus. How come you can see the future and I can't? Maybe it's the fundamental Christian thing. Got any idea on when Obama can get the annual deficit back under $1 trillion? Maybe when he succeeds in raising taxes on all income above $250K/year? My guess is it will take a while to undo the Bush budget, but yes a tax increase would help. Would really like to see him let the Bush 'temporary stimulus' tax cuts expire but it doesn't look like he is going to do it. Unwinding Iraq will help. My best guess is we'll get back to a Clintonesque budget by the end of his second term.
