i heard on cnbs earlier today their amazement at how his poll numbers are sinking despite 'good economic news' (had to laugh at that one)....i think you may be right....his complete lack of judgement was on full display when he answered the gates question at the press conference, and now he just looks like he took advantage of a decent man, crowley to make a political point....iow, he used the guy....people understand this kind of thing
