Hi, Bart

Some food for thought. Day trading is very tough, and most people get burned out in 6-9 months unless their finances get wiped out first. Position trading is doeable and timing is less critical.

For instance, during yesterday's manic bloodshed on the Street ... there were a number of no-brainers had one placed limit orders. For instance, strong stocks in a secular bull sector who had reported solid earnings ... like LU, ATI, HAL, NE, CPQ. There is always risk should the market tank, but the risk is less than perceived when trading shares or properly constructed long-term options strategies. Unload positions before options expiry .... when stocks are wracked thru their ranges. Oh, long-term options strategies does not mean one need to hold for long ... the time factor provides safety and alternatives for repair if need be.

I'm not much a fan of money flows and other technical minutia in the current market. Take care.
