I didn't run for President. Obama did.

You're just playing the usual Dem saw of "don't criticize what we did unless you have a better plan."

I'll tell you some things I would have done differently.

I wouldn't have run a campaign based on BS and lies. "We're the one we've been waiting for." Really, I thought people had to be at least 18 to vote.

I wouldn't have told people that the stimulus package was absolutely critical and had to be passed immediately, allowed it to go through Congress without being read and otherwise used artificial deadlines so as to take advantage of a crisis.

[I also wouldn't have told people that I was against earmarks if I was willing to sign such a pork laden bill. I wouldn't have signed that stimulus nor would I have allowed Nancy Pelosi and her henchmen to write it. I would have provided leadership, unlike Obama.]

I also wouldn't have made predictions about the effect of doing nothing if I lacked the data on which to base my claims.

[You noticed how the Administration's tune has changed since the stimulus was passed, right? Were they lying then or are they lying now?]

I wouldn't have allowed myself to be compared to God. I wouldn't have encouraged comparisons between myself and FDR within 5 minutes of taking the oath.

I most certainly wouldn't have believed my press clippings.

I wouldn't have stood in the way of getting Fannie and Freddie under control years ago.

I wouldn't have interfered with contracts and the bankruptcy system when it came to GM and Chrysler because, unlike Obama, I respect the Constitution and the rule of law.

I would not have championed the cap and trade bill because it is financially crippling and a ridiculous waste of national treasure.

I wouldn't have committed more troops to Afghanistan if I wasn't intent on a victory. And I certainly would NOT have publicly stated my disinterest in a victory so as to demoralize the troops sent there on my order.

Were I inclined to address health care I would do so in a way designed to have a real national debate, and not play the same game of rushing through overly expensive legislation.

Had I anything to do with a criminal organization like ACORN, I would have thrown them under the bus long ago. [It was easier for Obama to toss out his Grandmother than to take a hard look at an organization that does his bidding.]

Finally, I would have respected the office of President. I would think before I made comments about local affairs like the Gates matter, or whether corporations should have meetings in Las Vegas.

The bottom line is, I didn't vote for Obama. I regard him as part of the radical left. He's proven to be such on fiscal and social issues from the outset.

You evidently voted for him and seem to express a disinterest in digging us deeper into the debtor hole. Yet, you are still defending Obama. So what do you think he's going to do to prevent further escalation of the national debt?
