I know this, LJ - I don't have healthcare. I am 50 years old and both of my mother's parents died of cancer in their early 60's. If I get cancer? I will die. I might die before I even know I have it. That is what dying younger is about. If I get numonia (not going to bother to look up the spelling) that kills me? It will kill me because I won't go to the hospital and run up some horrid bill to be paid off by you and your taxpaying brethen. That is what dying before your time is about. That wouldn't happen to me in England or Canada. But I'm not complaining on my behalf, simply making a point for others, because on my behalf, I don't care. I would like to live until at least 2040 to see what happens, but fak it... on a personal level, I really honestly deepinmyheart, do not care. But there are people out there who are parents, and it matters if they have healthcare. There are loved ones who want to live and their loved ones want them to live... that if they have their cancer detected and get early care... it matters. people are dying, LJ. You can ignore it. You can dismiss it. You can put up numbers about life expectancy. But what you can't do is make it not be a reality.
