Why, yes I do! 98 outside now. After yesterday, this feels like a respite. I'll take it.
Stevens Canyon Road is open through Mt. Rainer National Park. We're leaving Friday and riding through the park. We'll be riding US 12 to Hwy. 410 outside Naches, up 410, into the Park over Chinook and Cayuse Passes, up to Sunrise, down south from there, pick up the newly opened Stevens Canyon Road and on to Paradise. Exit the park at Longmire. We plan to camp at the Tacoma City Light campground at Alder Lake Friday night. Care to join us? It'll likely be me, the Missus, the littlest Smithee and one, possibly two, friends from Lewiston/Clarkston. Others might be coming, but they're not campers so would probably stay at motels in Eatonville.
We'll be going to a picnic Saturday near Shelton and hope to hook up with Joe Bltfsplk. Be fun if you could come to that too. |
