*** Novell gets $12.7M in counterfeiting case

Computer networking software giant Novell said that a California
federal court awarded it $12.7 million plus attorney's fees in a case
involving a ring of software counterfeiters. The company said it
first filed the case in U.S. District Court in February 1996 because
of the counterfeiting and distribution of its "Netware" software
product in both the U.S. and Europe. Novell said many companies and
individuals settled out of court, but some did not choose to respond
to its complaint. For the full text story, see

Not lets see where NOVL might spend that money knowing the habits of the high tech CEO. How about fuel, food and insurance coverage for the jet that flies back and forth everyday or maybe that $5000 tune up coming up for the Hummer vehicle ?
