I'm NOT defending Obama.

I'm just trying to figure out what the BEST solutions would be before I condemn stuff.

It was BUSH that started TARP. It was BUSH that sent out checks to everybody with a heart beat. It was BUSH that originally bailed out the banks and the auto companies.

Maybe YOU think that McCain would have done things COMPLETELY differently, but I don't agree. If McCain had been elected there STILL would have been a stimulus. Many of the SAME things would have been funded.

You're just so PARTISAN that you can't look at ANYTHING objectively. I was willing to give Bush credit when he did something right (although I don't think he did much right).

Do you REALLY think Obama has sent more troops to Afghanistan without hoping for victory? It was BUSH that let Afghanistan fester while he put most of our assets into Iraq so we could free the Shiites (that like Iran a heck of a lot more than us) and create another ENEMY for the cheap price of a trillion bucks, 4,000 dead and 34,000 wounded.

If you think the Iraqi's are going to be our "friends" then you haven't read that latest memo from that fellow Ross (I think) that seems to state otherwise.
