However, if this is the case then some of the people on PFG who didn't have their shares registered have been worked over as well, because we did not receive proxy's either. Seems to me this is an area that should be clarified by the B.C.S.C. and the VSE. Otherwise, there is too much room for abuse. We had some discussion about this on that thread, and I tried to find out from my broker what the reg's were concerning this, but he never really answered this. So much for full service brokers! Sure would be nice to get written clarification on this so that the beleagured shareholders aren't left in the dark. Come to think of it, maybe that's why it's so muddy. I mean, why make it clear when you can confuse people?
I am going to write to the B.C.S.C. myself and get a definitive answer. As a matter of fact, seeing as I live in Victoria, I think I'll go down there and see if I can get some solid answers, but I would like them in writing so I could post. We'll see. I'll let you know what I find out. Won't be today though because I have company coming.
