Al, > How does nationalized health care fit into this King/Drew hospital story...?

Way too many details to discuss in a brief post. You can start here for the LATimes' complete series on "The Troubles With King-Drew":

latimes.com

Many people think the problems at King-Drew could have been solved with universal health care, but I think it's just the opposite. Universal health care will lead to many of the problems King-Drew experienced. Like I said, it doesn't have to be that way, but with the way liberal politics work, it's almost inevitable. (Not to mention that conservatives are now in blind obstructionist mode.)

> This is ridiculous...you level an accusation without basis or explanation...what does that mean? How does big pharma win big?

You can start with how Big Pharma is winning big right now, pre-Obamacare. Direct-to-consumer marketing, lack of face time with doctors, and CYA medicine is all leading to what I believe is sheer overprescribing of medication.

None of that is going to change with Obamacare. All that will happen is an increase in demand for these medications and services. But don't take my word for it. Look up the "progressive" blogs and see for yourself:
