Gardening becomes a drag with age - unless you got some hard working Mexicans to take care of it.
Furthermore, keeping the lawn from turning brown in the summer has now become a serious issue for us as well as others in San Diego.

We spend very little water in total and our lawn is small, but the 'no more that 10 minutes every 2nd day' lawn sprinkling rule doesn't reward our saving of water spending in other areas.

How is this new rule monitored? Neighbors are assigned duties to report neighborhood violations...

We are on our move back to Europe, to Italy and privacy - as well as own water and solar power - in the hills of Umbria.

For me and my wife that is easy. We have our kids over there and we never got too firmly established in the US.
With the Obamaism catching on and the libs and their Chavez ambitions pursued - don't believe them when they claim otherwise - we feel quite content to get out of what once was the place we all wanted to live.
