Except the Carter economy was the worst since the Great Depression, INCLUDING the current economic situation. You remember, the misery index, and all that?

And what solved it? Reagan's tax policy. Reagan is one of the few presidents who have actually been able to straighten out a screwed up economy. And he did it how?

We're now applying the same techniques that caused the Great Depression to drag out for a decade under FDR. The minute these fools start raising income taxes it is going to kill any positive economic signs of life.

The economy will come back without any help from the government. Just cut taxes. That's all. The rest of it is socialism.
