Per usual, you are wrong. Our current problems are much, much worse by most any metric.

Wrong again. It was Volcker's policies, as anyone who knows anything about economics and the history of that time. Which clearly excludes you. Granted, Reagan did stimulate the economy by cutting taxes and running up the deficit. But once the inflation was wrung out of the economy and interest rates had come down, the pump was primed.

You are still trying to peddle this nonsense? Just point to one country, any country, that came out of the Great Depression earlier, or did better during the Great Depression, than the US without being in WWII. Just one. Because, you know, there is one...
