I don't have a problem with Clinton's actions. But it wasn't diplomacy -- there was, according to Clinton, no message between the states involved.

I would not discount Bolton's views; he is probably the most astute person currently in the FP arena.

But there is some value in getting these two stupid women, who were fools for putting themselves in this situation in the first place, back.

If there proves to be some lasting diplomatic value I'll gladly admit I was wrong, but this looks more like a standalone incident with no substantial state implications.
