How so? The do actual research instead of making shit up. That gives them a great deal of credibility in my mind.

Oh, nonsense. You just don't want to accept it is all. Like a typical conspiracy theorist, you cherry pick your data, giving credibility to cranks and discounting through elaborate explanations anything that doesn't fit your theories.
