I know my ISP was fine because virtually every website I accessed worked fine. It is true that a few financial sites were overburdened but there is a big difference. Datek provides it's entire service online. We PAY datek to do this. If www.cnnfn.com happens to be down, I can take it, because I am not paying for it. But when Datek goes down, it makes me angry, not just because I can't do my work, but because I pay Datek commissions (thus fulfilling my promise) but datek does not handle my order (breaking their part of the deal).
