I would say that any fair reading of the situation leads to the conclusion that our problem is the corruption of our currency. Read Kevin Phillips' Book "Bad Money". He documents how both parties created this mess.

As long as they are in office the current crop of shills of both parties will never acknowledge their mistakes. To do so is tantamount to resigning. So they will continue the nonsense. We need to throw ALL the bums out and get people who will be able to take a fresh look at the problem.

Sorry but I think you are being way too easy on the Republicans. For six years they controlled all aspects of gov't and made a total mess of things. To complain that all pols are bad and there is no sense singling out one group vs another ignores the truth and accomplishes little.
