Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE:CPQ) today announced Compaq Software Quick Support, a group of value-priced pre-packaged service offerings for small and medium business (SMB) customers for the US market.
Intended for businesses that have limited in-house technical staff, Compaq Software Quick Support provides customers toll-free telephone help desk support for software. These selections are packaged for quick and easy purchase by customers from Compaq authorized resellers focused on the small and medium business market.
These flexible Compaq Software Quick Support offerings are available in 5-incident, 10-incident or 25-incident packages. In addition, customers choose from two levels of service - business hour coverage (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time) or extended coverage (7 days a week, 24 hours per day). Compaq Software Quick Support users will receive a prompt response and a quick resolution to their software application issue in a single phone call. Approximately 100 common PC software applications are supported, including packages such as Microsoft Office, Lotus SmartSuite for Windows, Harvard Graphics for Windows and Corel DRAW!. |
