Bob:

You should get my e-mail some time today. With regard to your question about trading TXN short term, two observations:

1. Trading any stock with the limitations you've got on your account re closing price and order entry makes things tough. It's hard enough to skim a few bucks trading WITHOUT those rules. That said, if that's what you have to live with to avoid taxes and transaction costs, so be it.

2. Fair value on the stock by my reckoning is $110. A 15 point fluctuation around that midpoint would be normal background noise. The big move from $140 to $100 was predictable given the technical background (price gap on July eps announcement) and the moderate overvaluation at $140. To call a move back to $105 or $100 from here is really not possible. Too many random events could blow you out of the water. Sorry I can't be more help.

Best regards,
Charlie
