LONDON (Reuters) In part todays news-

Analysts and traders said the recovery from Tuesday's losses
could mark the low point of recent market turmoil.

"People are still very nervous, but as the dust settles they will get their
confidence back," Jerry Evans, European investment strategist at
Enskilda Securities, told Reuters Financial Television.

Yet others cautioned that recent extreme market volatility was likely
to cast a cloud of uncertainty over investment prospects in equities for
some time to come.

"One has to regard this recovery as extremely fragile," said one trader
in London. "It is quite probable we are going to see more volatility,
but at least we seem to have broken the cycle of markets just going
down and down each day."
