I think it is not fair that USA consumers are paying the lion's share of the costs of pharma research. Without such research we're all in trouble, especially WRT antibiotics. We're crowded like fish in a farm pond in China.... and without a stream of new antibiotics we are ph*cked. It stinks when politicians interfere with markets - and price fixing by various foreign nationalized healthcare systems is an example of such interference. It's nothing but a new form of protectionism in the world of global corporations -- fix the price, steal the patent if you have to.... and leave it to the other guy to pay the price.
