I'm not trapped and have no intention of moving. I bought my current home during one of the frequent pullbacks in 2000. I can afford it and could give a crap about "equity". I think that Cape Coral has impossible problems at this point, but I do not live there, nor even venture across the bridge except to go to Matlacha to fish and go to Bert's. <G> You must have been to Bert's while bottom fishing in the Cape.

I like the slower pace here and I am done with interior design. I love the beaches, fishing and I am used to the weather now. There are a few cancer and biotech research companies moving here. The research of John Kanzius is continuing with much of it taking place here and another firm is taking over an entire hospital that was recently moved to new location. This will bring some diversification to our economy which is severely depressed.
