Cape Coral can not survive without the increases. The land was platted with dinky roads only, no infrastructure. Many of the houses there should never have been built. It is a horrendous mess. No stormwater drainage in many of the newer areas, no sewers, no more wells allowed for irrigation, caving canal walls, escalating race difficulties, etc. etc.
