I have. I live pretty close to one of the largest campuses in the country. Never saw what you are claiming, which makes your statement a lie.

The closest I've seen to what you claim is when the Young Conservatives harass any public function held by the Gay and Lesbian Caucus. The YC seems to feel particularly threatened by them. Some sort of insecurity is my best guess.
