Macromedia is investing heavily in its business. The ratios for S&M, R&D and G&A are much higher than a normal software company (G&A maybe due to lawsuits) in Q2 even though they are falling somewhat from Q1.

If invested the normal amounts for a growing company (30% S&M 15% R&D and 5% G&A) with a 35% tax rate, would have earned net a little over $6M or $.15 per share. Hope they are investing wisely!
