Hope you are right but I do not see it.

The one strong element of the last GDP report was "exports*" up 1.3%. Lower imports (some replacement items produced here) together with higher exports could account for the IMS improvement. That fits with the weak dollar which could be driving this export benefit further.

My guess is that GDP drops in 3Q and 4Q 2009.

Time will tell.

* Not sure that is just exports, think it is some type of composite of imports and exports. But, if so, the exports out weighed the imports.
