Eakole, I do not believe that the jewelry grade gold from the pillars is nuggets. This is a lode gold mine and the jewelry grade gold means lumps (geologic term) of rock with gold shot through it, that is cut for cabachons. A cabachon is the rounded finished stone as compared to a faceted finished stone. Cabs (official term) are used in Bolo ties (Our official Arizona neckware) or rings, broaches.

The Ruby Mine is famous for its jewelry grade nuggets.
