Felicia, Vol is very high today also, but I just placed an order via eSchwab with a wait of less than a minute. Note they posted some cautionary comments re best effort, etc, and I'm sure confirmations would be slow. Looks like their advertised claims of hi capacity are true. Rates don't match Ameritrade, but sure beat Pru :-)
