STILL, No one is buying cars. We've dropped from 16M to < 10M new cars sold annually.


We were down to 9 million. We're back up to 10 million, maybe 11 million thanks to cars for clunkers program.

Adding 250k, however you do it, isn't a big deal. Lots of people who can't afford cars will buy them if you cut the price by $4,000. That isn't a good thing necessarily.

Long term.....no; short term.....yes.

The important point is that it cost the taxpayers so much money to do this that it doesn't make good economic sense to do it.

It does if it helps the economy revive.

I know you don't understand this. So don't bother trying.

Look.....you all spend a great deal trying to intimidate either with your fists or with your mouth. Neither work for me. So I suggest you stick to the facts and stop trying to intimidate.
