Permanent Reserves are not related to the gold colored portion of your chart. Rather than get confused, watch inflation. When real estate and commodity prices were quadrupling, that was inflation. Yet now while the price of these items is collapsing, you're concerned with inflation. Its been said that magic is not possible without misdirection. I can see how meaningful that is. .
