It is truly said that a people gets the government it deserves. Politicians lie to get elected because they will not get elected if they tell the truth. It is naive to think problems of a social or cultural nature will be solved by doing away with the government. Let's assume that your longed-for citizens' revolt happens (a very far-fetched scenario). What do you see replacing the current system of government? A benign dictator?
