Yes.... (I detected the sarcasm in your voice. :-)

Obviously though --- for the better part of, oh I'd say nearly a century now, the national government has actively attempted to prevent open medical inquires and studies (even throwing our national weight around with other nations to inculcate the same 'no research that can't be controlled' policy that we have seen imposed on our own nation).
