Can the S&P 500 Handle 1200?

This is a logical place for the market to retreat. But will it?

I think the more important question is what are you doing up so early?

Okay, yes why not 1200? I'm just as scared as the next guy with the thought that this rally will suddenly collapse and the market will end up making new lows... anything could happen, but I also think there are way too may of what I would call "pseudo savvy" people around, these are the ones who are too cynical about the obvious... the obvious is that the trend is up, that liquidity is moving this market, and that the government is going to make sure the banks don't fail... we may as well ride the wave... Vi thinks we could see 1200 by October, frankly, I can believe it, the SP's are moving higher at a clip of 70 points a month, and I posted a couple of charts that suggest we're now witnessing the birth of a new bull market... if this is a new bull market, then it would be logical to presume that new all time bull market highs will eventually be seen before the next bubble pops... so, can the SP's handle the 1200 Handle? Sure, why not...
